BBPDX is honored to welcome Portland City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty to kick off a week of members-only forums with city leadership. Commissioner Hardesty is the first African American woman to serve on Portland's city council, and has shown strong leadership on racial justice, police reform, trauma-informed street response, and equitable access to housing and economic opportunity. She is in charge of a diverse portfolio of bureaus including Portland Fire & Rescue, Portland Street Response, the Office of Community & Civic Life and the Portland Bureau of Transportation. Join us for a live discussion to hear what her priorities are for 2021, and share your perspective on what is needed for a vibrant and equitable post-pandemic economy in Portland.
