In Summer 2022, the Portland Art Museum unveiled a special exhibition of more than 60 works by local BIPOC photographers made during the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.
Business for a Better Portland invites our members and donors to join us at an after-hours private viewing of special exhibition Perspectives. More than two years after the racial justice protests of 2020, that summer continues to echo in current conversations and city priorities. Stop by for a few moments or stay for the full time in reflection on these powerful and pivotal moments in our city, as photographed by artists Emery Barnes, Joseph Blake, Linneas Boland-Godbey, Daveed Jacobo, Mariah Harris, and Byron Merritt.
This free event is for members and donors. If you are a member business, please feel free to share with your coworkers and employees. RSVPs are required.
Perspectives closes at the Portland Art Museum on November 13th.
Please note: no food or beverage is permitted inside the museum. If you’d like to continue in conversation after the viewing closes with Board Chair Hope Beraka and interim Executive Director Karin Power, please email karin@bbpdx.org.
