Presented by the Community Chamber Coalition of Oregon and Oregon Native American Chamber
In partnership with Oregon Small Business United and Business for a Better Portland
Policy experts from Summit Strategies Government Affairs will introduce you to the recently passed infrastructure bill and its investments in transportation, clean water, broadband, and electric grid reliability.
This presentation will address questions such as:
What is the Infrastructure Bill? What elements of infrastructure are included (eg. transportation, energy, water, etc.)?
How much funding is guaranteed to go to states and local projects versus discretionary programs that will require a separate competitive application?
Which programs in the bill are funded and which programs are authorized but still need to be funded?
Are there any programs in the bill for socially and economically disadvantaged communities including tribal communities?
What is the timeline for these investments?
Hal Hiemstra and Mark Dedrick with Summit Strategies will provide a presentation and respond to questions. The forum will be moderated by Jake Oken-Berg of Summit Strategies.
